Here's a follow up on the Hood River Apple Vinegar company. We already saw the aftermath of their big fire, but I probably should have started with their humble beginnings along the OR&N Co. tracks in 1907.

My guess is that the leanto was the area where they actually made the vinegar, with the main building being their storage and warehouse.

I wonder why this product is not a current local industry, considering the culls and the desire for, and the market price of apple cider vinegar. Ig seems apple cider vinegar is coming back into it's own with the return back to basic and pure ingredients.
