When I first saw this Laraway image I thought the negative had something growing on it. While there is some damage to the emulsion, most of what I was looking at it just very busy wallpaper and bedspread.
The image shows pints of strawberries and raspberries with silver dollars and a half dollar for scale. One of the coins is from 1890, but the newspaper is from Mills County Iowa dated 1901. I'm surprised the "man cave pillow" artwork seems more contemporary than that.

Wonder what was on the pillow behind the berries that it lost out to the obviously masculine pillow.

I would rather have berries this size than the large berries in stores these days.
