That's Ella May Davidson to the right, so I am guessing this photo was taken with a mechanical timer. We know the Davidson clan enjoyed "camping" trips every summer. Notes indicate visits to a lava beds camp, Wahtum Lake, and a mineral springs camp. They don't exactly seem to be roughing it, as the images show nice cabins with furniture and mattresses. This one even shows electric lighting. I don't know the location of the camp but the electric lines narrow it down a little.

Nope, that's a boulder which holds up that corner of the structure. I think the dog is snapping the shutter.
