I can't identify the people or the location in this W.F. Laraway image, but there is so much to enjoy. The facial expressions, the clothing, the background... the details are worth exploring. The image is nice and sharp. I can clearly see the man has advanced cataracts in both eyes. I suspect his vision was very limited. The vine on the trellis is hops. What else do you see?

That is an interesting dress the woman is wearing. I wonder what special occasion she had it made for. The little boys boots! I can't imagine lacing those up everyday. And that hat is so cute.
They sure used a lot of trellis. I love plants and have had a hops plant in the past. I thought the vine looked different. So, my plant app to the rescue. This vine is a Virginia Creeper. The rose bush beside the man is a Macartney Rose.

Kind of looks like Nathaniel Coe. Though I suspect a lot of older gentlemen in the day looked very similar.

I wonder if Grandpa is the gentleman in photo #2730

The unhappy looking boy looks like Thurston Laraway featured in other Laraway photos.
I am going to put this down as a possibility. The woman is possibly the mother of Mrs. Laraway, Adelaide Maria Ferrel Hunt Robertson Hobson. She passed away in Hood River in 1914.

He could have at least buttoned his vest. Everyone else looks good!
