This view is from a Hood River promotional brochure circa 1908. The caption surprised me: "Field of Celery. J. W. Hollowell Market Garden, Hood River, Oregon. Mount Adams in the distance."
As we can tell by how the mouth of the White Salmon River lines up with Mt. Adams, this view is roughly along 9th Street. It's hard to be sure how close we are the the Columbia. This could be up near the old Henry Coe "mansion" south of State Street, or it could be closer to Columbia Street. A 1903 article in the Glacier has Hollowell operating a farm at "Riverview Park" which is between 9th and 12th, Cascade and Columbia. I suspect by 1908 he had acquired the farm.
The Hollowell's lived in Hood River from about 1901 to 1908.
