Notes
This view of what looks like a very new headwaters to the Middle Fork Irrigation Co. Ditch is from the Lois Pieronnet (later Cloud) photo album. Someone has been kind enough to add a few sheets of biographical information to the album, which lets us know Lois Pieronnet lived in a Parkdale home built in 1912 by Jim Pieronnet. She lived there from 1912 to 1915, and the house was later owned by Mrs. Gracey, Lloyd Van Riper, and Dave Hurliman. The notes indicate some of the people in the album were Mr. Busch and Mr. Barroll, Anthony Euwer (poet who we met earlier), Rae Babson, Mr. and Mrs. McIntosh, Arthur Bae, Roy Routson, Douglas, Jack and Eric Gordon ("former owners of the Frank Hood, then Harry Etheland, now McCarthy place")... I have no idea if any of these people are in this image, but we saw some of Lois Pieronnet's friends here and here.

Looks like a fire has gone thru the area - maybe 10 years or so earlier…
Judging by the size of the young trees coming up around the charred trees.
Eric Gordon is my maternal grandpa and Douglas and Jack my great uncles.

I don't know this for sure, but it appears all of the Pieronnet family went back to Illinois.

When I was a kid in the 1950's, I knew a Virginia Routson who worked at the Sport Center.

I worked for Virginia Routson when she was in charge of the property records etc at the HRCounty Courthouse in the ‘60’s & ‘70’s. Before that she had worked for Doreen Imbler. Since HR is a Home Rule County they did not have to run in the election process.

Virginia’s parents were Harry & Altima Routson from Parkdale.

Correction:
The person fifth from left is my grandfather, Parkdale orchardist Eugene Courtney Euwer, Sr. (1883-1942). His brother Anthony Henderson Euwer (1877-1955) was an artist and poet, and often visited Parkdale, but he is not in this photograph.
