Pacific Power was visiting Lyle Washington in January of 1930. This building is now the Lyle Hotel. I'm not sure what it was at this time. Note the conifer in front of the building wasn't even a sapling at this date.

Pardon Art but that is definitely not a conifer. The gentleman in leathers is either
dressed for logging or riding a motorcycle, but then the older gentleman appears
to have high top leather boots on too.

I would have had no idea that was the Lyle Hotel. Much more attractive now.

I think Arthur means the modern picture's conifer wasn't there yet in the old pic.
