If you went to see a movie in Hood River 100 years ago you might have seen this advertisement for W.F. Laraway Jewelers. Humor doesn't always translate well between eras, but this one still works.
Happy Holidays to everyone from Historic Hood River and the History Museum of Hood River County.

Ohhhh, poor reindeer. I bet "aeroplanes" were a frightful experience for them.

I'm a bit worried the JWST launch may disrupt reindeer traffic over northern South America this year.

Just received a vintage Christmas postcard c.1908 as a Christmas gift (I’m in Alberta, Canada). It’s addressed to a “Mr. Ivan Husbands” of Hood River, OR from “Emily” of Mosier, OR. Very interesting reading the historical posts, thanks and a Merry Christmas to you all!
