Remember when we used to get together in crowds? I took this photo in 2012 at the tree lighting which ends the annual holiday parade. I was just getting ready to deliver my traditional "mayor's address." Each year I asked the kids if they wanted a nice long speech or if I should light the tree. Not once did they take me up on the "nice long speech" offer, which is good, because I never prepared one.
We will get back together in crowds again, but for now many of you have plenty of time to add some captions or metadata to the photos in your personal collection. Make sure you take some photos of your quarantine nest, too. This will be history some day-- hopefully some day soon.

Now we need a picture of empty streets to go with it.
