Notes indicate this is the "Old red covered bridge. Taken from the Dee Dam." Unfortunately the image quality is poor so I can't make out any other detail.
We've previously seen another local covered bridge on Woodworth Road.

I can't explain the smoke. I think they burned their sawdust to generate electricity for the mill, so not sure what would be left to burn.

Arthur, photograph #1108 posted 5-5-2015 shows an upstream view of the sawdust and cuttings being dumped on the hillside down to the river amid the smoke. Nels and Jim Gray made comments regarding this location being used as a dumping and burning site.

The covered roof was removed in November 1921 after it was damaged by a big snow and sleet storm.
