I learned from Olga Plog's album that April 11th is Blossom Day, or at least it was in 1926. She included this photo of a Chevrolet in a local orchard as part of her commemoration of the occasion.
We saw another image from this photo shoot almost ten years ago, but now we know a little more about it.
Like your earlier photo, WA hills in addition to the blossoms.

The car position has changed between the two photos, maybe two different locations in the same orchard. Makes me wonder if they used that car to drive through the orchard and check on the trees. For those of us who don't live in the HR area, are the blossoms on schedule this year to bloom tomorrow, April 11th?

kmb, my yard looks very much like this photo right now. Not quite so many trees, but the ones I have are in full bloom.

Fruit trees in full bloom in town. Will work it's way up the valley - and quickly with this two days of temps in the 70's.
