This Ella May Davidson image appears to be a temporary bridge across the Hood River. We know From Arline Moore's accounts and The Hood River Glacier that the original wood and steel bridge across the Hood washed out frequently, such as in this image. You can see the climb to Button Junction just behind the bridge.

Still building on this Temporary Bridge. No rail on South Side and lumber on the deck.
