We've seen a few different views of the Little Boy Ranch at Sonny before. This Ella May Davidson view from the west shows its proximity to Mitchell Point. You can refresh your memory of the history of this spot with some of these posts. The old route through the Mitchell saddle is up behind the ranch. The new route was probably under construction below the ranch in this circa 1915 view.

Kenn will probably know the answer to this. Is there still a trail or road remains along the old route?
From this road, was there a road that turned south, into the upper Hood River Valley?

The old road is still used behind the building for a short distance to gp up Mitchell, slid out to the left and again exists through the saddle. In the saddle there are remains of an old car that Ruth Guppy remembered playing in when a youth. .
