Around 1900 an itinerant photographer visited many of the merchants in Hood River and took photographs of them with their customers inside their shops. These are some of my favorite images in our collection. I think of how much I enjoy some of the fine interior views like this one and this one, and it inspires me on occasion to capture some of the interior views which may be interesting to future generations.
I caught Pine Street Bakery owner Megan Davis lightly dusted with flour in 2012. The bakery is of course on Pine Street (at 12th Street). Since this photo it has expanded to the east.

I like that idea, Arthur, and will think about doing more of that myself.

Awesome photograph. Those who commit to owning and running a business are truly special. Congratulations to Ms. Davis and her crew.
