Is that the Govt. Camp Island where the locks were later built? Taking the sternwheeler trip showed many of the rocks but only the top 3 feet or so, and explained as the result of the natural bridge collapse according to Capt. Crambletts.

I was hoping for some comments to pinpoint exactly where this spot is. My guess is Fort Rains area, with a newly built railroad.
I wish we could see more of the round rock on the right.
