I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is quite nice and maintains an older feeling which I enjoyed.

Hopefully you will get a photo of the most decorated Christmas lights house in town! I think she has put her mother in charge and it gets better every year. Really sets the mood for downtown Christmas shopping.

I am confused, which isn't unusual for me.
Is this different than the Davidson/Childs historic home? Which, I thought was the Davidson family home on Oak St.

Was it legal to park on the wrong side of the street back then? Also, it looks like they lost the chimney on the west end of the house somewhere along the way.

To clarify: This was Horatio Davidson's house from 1909. The Davidson-Chllds House (725 Oak) was Payton and Frank Davidson's 1904 home. I'm not sure if they're related.

Thank you for the photo. I have a Christmas photo from 2018 if you let me know how to post it. My mother, Lemora Joyce McCarty, did the hotel decorations for every season from 2002 until her passing in 2019. If you want other seasonal photos let me know.
