This is one of my favorites. I just rediscovered it recently-- it got lost in the 2500 other negatives. I think that's a fumarole in the distance, and another line of climbers working their way down. I like the mix of smooth curves and rugged boulders.

This looks like a very late season descent of The Chute, which turns into a bowling alley when not covered with snow and ice: boulders are the bowling balls and climbers are the pins! Yikes!
There’s a party standing on the Hogsback, below, Crater Rock looming in the distance. The fumeroles snow up nicely at the base of Crater Rock, with sulphur steam puffs coming out.
Wow. The exposed rocks make for an incredibly dangerous scene! Not something most would attempt today..!
