According to the notes the Missionary Alliance church was on May Street, just east 8th. At some point after this picture was taken it was either renovated or replaced by a larger facility, which was subsequently modified into a residence.

It also spent time as an Oddfellows Hall.

Grew up near there, it was a church until the 70's if I remember right, then an Art Center, then into a residence, believe the bones of the church were left during the remodels.

We used to attend the Christian and Missionary Alliance church there in the 60's when we lived just up the street.

I used to attend Sunday school there, as a very young girl, as it was right across the street from my house... Also attended daily vacation Bible school every summer.... Fond Memories!

My dad pastored this church 1963ish for 3 years. I have fond memories of Hood River. Walking to the swimming pole every summer. The huge lilac bush outside the parsonage. The yard between the church and the parsonage where we built snow forts in the winter.
