Mrs. Bone was no doubt Charlotte (Gould) Bone.
Mrs. Pineo was the wife of Dr. Pineo who was a local dentist. Think her name was Delephine.
Mrs. McVay was the wife of Dr. McVay who was a homeopathic doctor in Hood River.

Whist takes an even number of players, and there are thirteen in the photo. However, they seem to be looking down to their right and laughing at something. Maybe #14 fell down the hill.
