Have to tell you this. It is not Homestead inn, but was called (I think) Mt. Hood Lodge.. Homestead was a long flat building built into the hillside as we have seen in prior photos. It was located off the Cooper Spur Road up from Parkdale. It was owned and operated by I think his name of Homer Rogers. Kate McCarthy who lived up in Parkdale right in the very same area as this was located was a relative, maybe a grand-daughter. I have some very nice photos actually showing the lodge better than this. I think the cars were the point of interest in this photo.

Thanks Charlott, I'll correct the title and notes later.

The last time I was in the area Homer Rogers building still existed as a private home in the Y off old 35.
Charlott may know the name Bus Gibson, he knew Kate and she once showed us the location or remains of the Mt Hood Lodge.

New looking cars with "DEALER" tags. Wonder if this was some kind of a promotion?

I thought we had seen this building before.
Thanks a lot Arthur. Now I have wasted part of this beautiful morning, looking for a previous HHR photo!

OK, I fixed this post and cleaned up the tags so LE won't have to spend so long searching next time.
